LIVE MUSIC AT THE BRIARS HISTORIC INN
Live music every Friday on the deck at Briars Historic Inn
from 6.30pm to 10pm. Check out who's playing when and
book your table for dinner in the Historic Inn. Everyone welcome
no need to dine if you want to relax and catch some excellent
entertainment over a drink. Outdoor seating available on the deck
with fire for cooler evenings, enclosed playground for the children
with lounge and bar areas in the Historic Inn. Accommodation

TRAINWORKS 1ST BIRTHDAY
Step back in time to the hey day of rail travel for Thirlmere's
big birthday party. This 1920's-style celebration is complete with
brass band, roaming entertainment, steam train rides and of
course, a great birthday cake.

BURRAWANG EASTER MARKET
Join us for the Annual Burrawang Easter Market; the
longest running, biggest and best-loved market in the Southern
Highlands. Over 120 stalls, parking and shuttle bus available
and entertainment for everyone.

INNOVATION BY ACCIDENT EXHIBITION
52 Autumn 2012
Accidents happen! On railways, innovations follow to
prevent further accidents and make rail travel safer. This limited time
exhibition at Trainworks explores some of New South Wales' rail
accidents and the improvements that developed. Special seminar
event Sunday 22 April.

EMBROIDERED SAMPLERS -
THE NATIONAL TRUST COLLECTION
As part of the National Trust Heritage Festival, Harper's
Mansion will host an exhibition of some of the embroidered
samplers from the National Trust Collection, including several
examples of early Australian needlework.

LOUISA ATKINSON (1834-72) AND HER FAMILY
As part of the 2012 National Trust Heritage Festival, local writer
Judith O'Connell will talk about Louisa Atkinson, her family and their
links with Berrima. Louisa was a well-known writer, artist and botanist
but all her family made outstanding contributions to the knowledge of
the new colony and their lives provide an insight into the challenges
and opportunities facing Australians in the mid-19th century.

BRIGADOON AT BUNDANOON
The street parade starts at 9.30am and includes 25 pipe bands,
marching Scottish clans and societies and decorated floats. The
opening ceremony follows at 10.45am and the closing ceremony
starts at 4pm.
