CRICKET AS YOU'VE NEVER SEEN IT
LOCAL SOUTHERN Highlanders rave about the International
Cricket Hall of Fame and for very for good reason. Located
next to the hallowed turf of Bradman Oval, The International
Cricket Hall of Fame is pitched to cricket tragics but
accessible to all and it's a really great place to while away.
You will learn everything you've ever wanted to know about
cricket... and then some. The Hall of Fame tells the story of
cricket through touch screen technology, interactive displays
and incredible stories from around the world.
One area that is not to be missed is the Bradman Gallery,
featuring rare and priceless objects including his first bat,
hand-written coaching notes and slides he used to coach
children in the 1940s. There's also a life-sized recreation of a
backyard water tank that you can have a go at hitting a ball
against with a stump -- exactly the way Bradman used to!
The International Cricket Hall of Fame is on St Jude Street in
Bowral and is open Monday to Sunday. Admission is $18
for an adult, $8 for a child (5-17) and $45 for a family.
OPEN EVERY DAY EXCEPT CHRISTMAS AND GOOD FRIDAY
10AM -- 5PM ST JUDE STREET, BOWRAL 4862 1247
