The Surveyor General Pub is the ideal place
to stop for a cold beer and a good plate of food
for the whole family. This is the oldest continuously
licensed inn in Australia. The Bushrangers Bistro seats
up to 160 people, has a traditional barbecue area, an
extensive a la carte menu, and facilities for families and
children. Enter the bistro through the old stone walls and
corridors of the Inn, or from the welcoming beer garden
or verandah. The wallhangings and display cabinets hold
memorabilia of the early days of the inn. Cook your own
steaks on the barbecue, or select from the a la carte menu.
Children's meals are also available for the under-15s.
Mrs Oldbuck's is a legend in the town. A delightful store
