Eurobodalla, land of many waters on the South
Coast of NSW showcases a dazzling blue land-
scape of ocean, rivers, lakes and estuaries along
110 kilometres of the Batemans Marine Park
coastline. Set against a dramatic backdrop of
mountains and forest, the region is renowned for
its rich sea, bird and wild life, clear warm summers
and mild winters.
The three major towns of Batemans Bay, Moruya
and Narooma are connected by coastal and rural
villages, central to the region's strong rural her-
itage and indigenous culture, and reflecting a gen-
uinely warm, authentic and relaxed community.
The towns and villages entertain a vibrant seaside
cafe culture and renowned restaurants that offer
plenty of ways to enjoy seafood and regional pro-
duce. You'll also find the work of local artists and
craftspeople in galleries, emporiums, boutique
shops and at country markets.
Must-see attractions include Montague Island,
Birdland, Mogo Zoo, our many villages and The
Original Gold Rush Colony and the picturesque
Central Tilba National Trust village.
The spectacular views from headlands and hinter-
land lend themselves to leisurely drives, short
walks, longer hikes through the forest and moun-
tains or leisurely games on a uniquely located golf
The region's many waterways can be enjoyed by
boat, paddle steamer, kayak, surfboard or other
watercraft - many tours, charters, hire options and
lessons are available making it easy to fish, to look
and to explore all year round.
