The location The ceremony was held at the Batemans Bay
Anglican Church. Afterwards the guests enjoyed a jazz band and
afternoon tea in the church hall before the evening reception
began at Murramarang Resort in South Durras.
The gown Laura's full-length ivory dupion silk strapless gown
featured beading over lace detail on the bodice and side and on
the train by Jean Fox from Lush Bridal in Ulverstone, Tasmania.
The bridesmaids Laura's sisters Katy and Emily wore elegant
street-length silver and charcoal silk frocks with black inserts
under the bodice and on the shoulder straps.
The flowers The bride chose not to carry flowers, her brides-
maids instead carrying floral sheaths of birds of paradise.
The groosmen Ben and his brother Jason looked smart in two-
piece charcoal suits -- the groom with an orange tie and the
groomsman a charcoal tie.
The cake Kay Richards created the wedding cake, a traditional
fruit cake decorated with sheets of white
chocolate and birds of paradise.
The honeymoon Two weeks in northern and eastern Tasmania
before returning to their home in Burnie.
