R rranging how you will arrive at the church is not as
simple as it sounds.
The options are endless when it comes to your
choice of wedding transport - from a horse and cart to classic
vintage cars, or even motor cycles.
The groom and groomsmen usually make their way to the
church separately, while the bride and her attendants enjoy
travelling to the ceremony in style. The vehicles are usually
shared on the return trip, so make sure you have enough
room for the whole bridal party.
If you are using a professional transport company you will
have to book in early, as soon as you decide on the church
and reception venue.
If you are using private vehicles for your wedding party, it is
vital to consider things like the car's reliability and if drivers
know where they are going. If family or friends are going to
detail their vehicles for your use, make sure they stay clear of
traditional 'tyre black' - if you accidentally rest your gown
against the wheels you will be left with terrible black marks
which will ruin your dress.
Another handy hint is to pack some towels, baby wipes and
even rubber thongs in to the boot of the car if you plan on
having your photographs down at the beach. That way you
can clean the sand off your feet before putting your wedding
shoes back on.
